We absolutely loved our dinner here. The tasting menu was well thought out. The flow of flavors and textures was impeccable. All of the courses were on point. The best though was the veal dish. It was absolutely fantastic melt in your mouth goodness with simple flavors. The restaurant is also in a very beautiful square. Overall a very good detour on our trip.
One of the best tasting menu experiences i’ve ever had! Every dish was well crafted and prepared beautifully, making simple dishes like salads taste amazing and new. Stand out dishes were the beef and veal salad. Service was super friendly and personal, and their wine selection was pristine. This restaurant to worth the visit 100%.
I recently dined here, a small and charming restaurant that had some great dishes, as well as a few that were not as enjoyable. The service was friendly, although somewhat inconsistent. The wine menu was interesting. Based in my experience, I would recommend ordering a la carte rather than opting for the tasting menu.
Of the dishes I tried, the trottole with rabbit offal ragout, sweetbreads with carrots and ginger, and the smoked eel with beetroot and sour cream were all excellent. The sole with black truffle and Champagne was favorite.
If you do decide to try the tasting menu, I would recommend keeping an open mind and being adventurous. The sweetbreads were a surprising and delightful dish, with interesting flavors and a very tender texture. However, I found the lamb and artichoke to be disappointing, as the meat was quite gamey and the artichoke had a strong liver flavor. The timing between courses was also quite slow, especially toward the end of your meal.
A difficult decision to make a review. On the one hand the 8 courses menu was very good. A high interpretation of Italian cuisine. But there were to many disappointments. Starting with the last, the dessert was very special with seaweed as ingredient. The portions of the different courses were very strange what is not normal for a Michelin star restaurant. But the most disappointing part of the evening was the sommelière. She recommended a red wine that didn’t match the main course at all. And the „sweet“ dessert wine was sour and not sweet (even would have paired good to the strange dessert). But then she should have said this, the moment my wife asked for a sweet wine. The service at all was very engaged, but because of a big group in the restaurant they seemed very stressed. Also there were a lot of main components of the different dishes that weren’t listed in the menu like goat cheese, coriander or raisins. Not the typicial Michelin star restaurant experience you would expect.
Had dinner last night with classical tasting menu which had 3 courses and a dessert. The main course of fish was not good at all, over cooked and not soft. My sun had the chai Jen with truffle, better than my fish.
The 1st course of mine was a soup, very salty. The pasta for my son is just okay, nothing special.
The appetizer for both of us was chicken liver, sweetened with hazelnut, like from grocery store, nothing special.
Overall not have impression of Michelin star and not recommended.
Very good restaurant, deserving their Michelin star. Staff was just casual and friendly enough to make the experience relaxed, but still very professional.
We had the vegetarian 6 course menu and the ‘normal’ 6 course menu and both were delicious. Wine selection was also great.
We visited for my partner's birthday and the overall experience was disappointing. We had the tasting menu and the food was good, but not sure if it is Michelin level. Decor was also a bit dated. The main issue was that service was very slow to the point that some other guests left without their food, and the restaurant wasn't even busy.
Came here with a party of 6, beautiful atmosphere, and food presentation was impeccable. Service and overall taste of food could be better. I loved chicken and the beef tartar, all other dishes she tried were underwelming. The food was nice for taking pictures though!
